At Soundpath Psychiatry PLLC, we are committed to providing excellent mental health services that are accessible to all by accepting insurance plans and affordable out-of-pocket rates. We frequently see clients out of network. Payment is due at the time of the service, if desired, provided with a superbill to receive out-of-network financial reimbursement from your insurance.

Out of pocket rates:

Initial Evaluation: 60 to 90 minutes: $350 to $425
Follow up visits: 30 to 60 minutes: $150 to 250 out-of-pocket rate

Please be sure to call your insurance provider to verify that your mental health services will be covered.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you confirm the details of your mental health benefits, as you will be responsible for any services that are not covered by your insurance.

The visit charges are determined by guidelines set by the American Medical Association. These factors like appointment length, number and severity of symptoms, treatment prescribed, complexity level of each case and whether therapy interventions were incorporated into the session determine the billing code for each appointment.

Cancellations Policy: Please cancel or reschedule at least two (2) business days’ notice in advance (excluding weekends and Holidays).. Late Cancellations/reschedule will incur a $100 no-show fee. This fee must be paid before you will be rescheduled. Please also be advised that after you no show to or late cancel three (3) scheduled appointments in a year the provider may terminate relationship for non-adherence.

Prescriptions: Prescriptions will be written with enough refills to last until your next appointment.

We strongly recommend scheduling your next appointment at the end of each session, so that we can be sure you are able to come in before you run out of your medications. Please note that refill requests outside a visit can incur a fee. Our strict policies reflect our concern for our clients’ well being. Medications such as benzodiazepines and stimulants are tightly regulated by the DEA.

Please note that we don’t authorize early refills for controlled medication. Please keep your medication in a safe, secure location because we are not able to replace lost, damaged or stolen prescriptions.

Other Fees: there may be additional fees for refills, communications outside visit requiring clinical decisions and completed forms.
